Default Kreepy's Beginner Guide

First off, Welcome to Dodian! The following information will be updated as time goes on so check back every now and then! I'll also say that there are other guides with this same information and this one is just combining a few of them as well as adding a few things.

This server is more geared towards Player Vs Monster. With that said, there is one thing you will always need if you're looking to get good items yourself throughout the game and that's Food. If you're like me and rather make the stuff versus relying on other players, Fishing and Cooking should be the first skills you start working on. However, at Lv.3 you can handle the rats no problem at all if you wish to hop into combat right away.

Catherby is the one stop shop when it comes to fishing and cooking for Free players.
Directly east of the teleport you'll find a shop with every fishing item you will need. Right by the shop are 4 fishing spots where you can fish everything from Shrimp to Sharks (Premium users have more options for raw fish). As you run to the spot you'll see a building East of the bank that has a Range in it to cook whatever you need.

North of the Yanille teleport you'll see 3 cages. This is where you will start the Thieving skill. Once you get to level 10, pickpocket the farmer west of them. The farmer will give you feathers which you will need for multiple things. I suggest stocking up on them.

Outside and North of the East entrance of Yanille are Mining rocks (Copper-Adamant). Directly south of the bank in Yanille is an Advil and Small Furnace for Smithing.

When it comes to training combat, Melee is the easiest to start with. Next would be Range then Mage. If you explore Yanille, you will find NPC's scaling in level for you to train on. All of which drop gear that you will need as you level up accordingly IF using Melee (below is a drop list and location of the NPC's). Directly southwest of the bank are stairs leading down to the Yanille Dungeon. You will need a Red key in order to enter it. The NPC 'Dad' and 'Abyssal Guardian' both drop them but there is a level requirement in order to attack them.

For Range, you can find normal trees and Oak Trees right outside of the Yanille East Entrance to make arrow shafts and an Oak short/longbow. You'll find other locations for them everywhere but I find with the bank that close, it's a good place to start.

For Magic, it's simple to train. In settings toggle on the Old Magic option. From 1-50 High alch items. Don't worry, you only need Nature runes to use high alch and it's available at lv 1. At lv 50 is when you can use combat magic in the Ancient Magic Spellbook. You can find a staff in the shop next to the farmer by the teleport.

Runecrafting is fairly simple to start. At Level 1 you can craft Nature runes. The altar is found just outside of Yanille. Rune Essence can be mined using the teleport found on the 3 level of the mage tower in the center of Yan. At level 50 you can make Blood runes. The altar can be found in Seers.

Seers will be your place to go for tanning any leather as well as making bowstrings. Most Crafting will be done here. Flax can be found south of bank and there is a spinning wheel on the 2nd floor of the Dommik's shop.

If you're looking to start Slayer, the Slayer master can be found in the weapon shop West of the Talvery teleport. Simply talk to him about starting a task. He will also teleport you to Ardougne where a lot of your tasks will be.

Now that I touched on most of the skills and where to start them you should be ready to get started on our server. Feel free to add me in-game if you have any questions.
